The Book of Proverbs was given to teach a man in the way he should go. It was written to instruct them in life in perusing leadership and family. It was written between 900 BC and 700 BC by King Solomon and others,It invites readers to make life-changing decisions between wisdom and foolishness. It invites alternates between a path to wisdom which leads to life or a path of foolishness that leads to death.
Proverbs 3:5-6-Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not in your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, And He will make your paths straight.
Gaining an understanding of life gives you the tools to succeed and the patience to make decisions with clarity and confidence.
Proverbs 4:1- Listen, my sons, to a father's instruction; pay attention and gain understanding.
When we hear the phrase " fear of the Lord", it is to give God the reverence or respect He deserves; not to be afraid of Him, because He is a loving God, looking to fill your life with peace and happiness. He wants to guide your paths to righteousness.
Proverbs 9:10- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Raising a child takes work, but more importantly is guidance and direction. Spare the rod and spoil the child.
Proverbs 22:6- Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not turn from it.

I have found that taking things to the Lord for clarity helps relieve the stress and anxieties of life,. It allows for understanding and guidance.
