The Scriptures help us get to know God through the personal accounts of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, which resides in all us. It's why we Love like He does.

These first five Books are also known as the Torah or the Mosaic Law. These give accounts of the origin of man, origin of God's people, the organization of God's army, and instruction for the new generation. All based on the Abrahamic Covenant

The Gospels are synoptic writings telling about the ministry of Jesus. Synoptic means 4 different writers telling about the same person or event. The Gospels share of the Miracles and Parables of Jesus. They also share of His arrest, crucifixion and resurrection.

The Book of Acts gives us a story of the early church. It was written 60-62 AD by Luke, the same writer of the Gospel of Luke, It was written to record how the Holy Spirit acted through believers to spread the Word of God. It shares the account of Pentecost when the disciples received the Holy Spirit .
Acts

In Acts 9, A prominent Pharisee named Saul of Tarsus whom persecuted Christians, had an encounter with Jesus while on the road to Damascus. Here was converted to Christianity and began his missionary work and letters to the newly formed churches. These are known as the Pauline Epistles.
His name was changed to Paul.

Paul wrote or had written, 13 letters to the new churches he visited to commend them or direct them and their service for the Lord.

In 85-95 AD, While on the island of Patmos, John wrote the Book of Revelation to the Seven Churches in Asia Minor, It was written to persecuted Christians to provide a vision of Christ's return. It shares about God's power over evil and the ultimate defeat of Satan, It also describes the restoration of the New Earth and how He will live among His people.
